Dear Maimonides Alumni Family,
I am excited to take over the reins of Kol Bogrei Rambam from Mike Rosenberg, who (thankfully) is continuing as a writer for the newsletter and as a resource for our alumni program. As a proud member of the Maimonides School Class of 2000, I’m looking forward to connecting with many of you, and to hearing your feedback and ideas.
We are pleased to share with you the first issue of Kol Bogrei Rambam for the 5785 school year.
This month’s issue features articles about Reuven Fenton (’98) and his recent novel Goyhood, and Josh Perry (’95) and his new novel Seraphim.
Meira (Katz) Davis (’65) and Adina (Gewirtz) Morris (’95), two alumnae who are decades apart and longtime rebbetzins in their communities, discuss their leadership of the North American Rebbetzins Network through Yeshiva University and the Rabbinical Council of America.
This issue also introduces a new feature, the Teacher Spotlight, which this month highlights Rabbi Dov Huff (’00) and his journey from Maimo student to principal of the Middle and Upper Schools at Maimonides.
Gmar Chatima tova,
Judith Bernstein (’00)
Editor, Kol Bogrei Rambam
